People Pleaser or Just An Option

Have you ever had a moment in your life where you just stopped and looked at yourself and ask yourself why? Why am I so tired? Why do I run myself in the ground for others? Why do I put myself out there? Why can't I say no? Why do I make it so easy for other to take advantage of me? Why want people ever just take me as I am? Why am I always worried about the opinion of others? Why can't he love me? Why can't I find happiness? Why is joy playing hide-n-seek with me? Why? Why? Why? It is these very questions and many like it that send people into depression, into suicide, into mental breakdown. These are the very questions you never find the answer to. So I had to ask myself, Why do you want the answer to these questions, to make myself better, and then I asked but what is wrong with the you now. Well, here is my conclusion, and I do me MY CONCLUSION, PEOPLE PLEASING. OK let's back up just a bit, have you ever got that text message that says, "Never make someone a priority when you are only an option." Well think about who sent you that text are you the option in their lives. Now that's something to think about. Not just the courtship relationships but the friend relationship. You know that friend you hang around that doesn't notice you until you not there, or better yet you stand right there and because it is you they carry on fifty different conversations and just ignore you and think nothing of it because you are suppose to understand. Oh you are the person they can call for anything but the one day you have something else to do for yourself they get angry because your not there. How about that moment you get fed up and you feel the need to express yourself and at the end of the conversation you are trying to figure out how did this become your fault and of course your feelings are hurt, and you think well damn how did I get here. There are two answers to the question (a) People pleasing or (b) you are just an option. You know there is nothing wrong with options, or even people pleasing, so I guess my thing is know your place and save yourself the heart ache because believe it or not no matter what you do you will always be an option to some people and you can't please everybody.
There are a lot of whys and why nots in life and I guess you just have to pick the ones you really want to know the answer to.So the question today is, What is the why in your life and is it worth answering. That's the question I need an answer.

Later 'E'

Wow, E! :) my $.10 is that many of the times we question our lives or events in our lives is because we experienced it before and are not sure why we’re experiencing it again. most of the time, we simply want to know "why" does this keep happening or "why" is this happening again, or even, "why" does this always happen to me? in the kimcooley zone, at those moments i try to stand back and look at the overall picture and MY patterns. guess what....most of the time, it was all something that "I" failed to change about me along the way. albeit my circle, my relationships, my conversations, my life, or my faith. regardless, it was something that "I" failed to do and then failed to see my failure, so then i starting asking away...only to find out that while it may have been worth asking it really wasn’t necessary.
